Despite the threat of thunderstorms, the 16th annual Amherstburg’s Gone Car Crazy show drew hundreds of people young and old, plus a few pet dogs to sniff around some shiny classic rides.
The event featured rat, muscle, and sports cars, as well as trucks, Jeeps, street rods, custom street machines, and more immaculately maintained vehicles.
A stretch of Dalhousie Street and several feeder streets were closed to regular traffic for the event.
Amherstburg Open Air Weekends activities took a pause for the car show but will resume next weekend, starting Friday at 3 p.m.
