După o lungă campanie de promovare, producătorul nipon de automobile Lexus a dezvăluit primul său model complet electric, RZ 450e. Acesta va fi propulsat de două motoare electrice cu o putere totală de 313 CP și 435 Nm de cuplu. Din ansamblu va face parte o baterie de 71,4 kWh, care oferă o autonomie maximă de peste 400 de kilometri.

Noul RZ 450e a fost dezvoltat pe aceeași arhitectură e-TNGA folosită de Toyota bZ4x și Subaru Solterra. Modelul celor de la Lexus vine cu o serie de îmbunătățiri. În primul rând, este vorba despre un design diferit, dotări premium, un grup motopropulsor mai puternic și sistem de tracțiune integrală.
Din punct de vedere estetic, știam din imaginile publicate în ultimele săptămâni la ce să ne așteptăm. Proporțiile sunt cam aceleași ca la bZ4x și Solterra. În schimb, toate panourile caroseriei modelului Lexus sunt noi, oferindu-i mașinii o siluetă mai aerodinamică și un aspect mai elegant.
Noul Lexus RZ 450e folosește mai puține elemente din plastic la exterior. Farurile au fost redesenate, grila este complet închisă, iar acoperișul, montanții și oglinzile laterale sunt finisate în negru lucios.
De asemenea, la spate se disting luneta foarte înclinată, spoilerul „coadă de rață” integrat în hayon, banda luminoasă LED și prizele de aer verticale găzduite de spoiler. În plus, în locul obișnuitei sigle, acum apare scris numele producătorului.

La interior noul model vine cu instrumentar de bord compact și un ecran tactil de 14 inch pentru sistemul multimedia. Este oferită și o oglindă retrovizoare centrală digitală. Opțional este disponibil volanul de tip manșă, similar cu cel de pe Tesla Model X.
Tot opțional va putea fi comandat un plafon panoramic din sticlă. Acesta își poate schimba culoarea pentru a proteja interiorul de razele solare. În plus, șoferul și pasagerul din dreapta vor avea la dispoziție un sistem special de încălzire pentru genunchi.
RZ 450e este primul model Lexus care oferă noul sistem de tracțiune integrală Direct4 al companiei nipone. Sistemul electronic poate modifica distribuția cuplului către cele două axe de la 0 la 100% în doar câteva milisecunde.
Cele două motoare cu care este echipat Lexus RZ 450e dezvoltă împreună 313 CP, cu 96 de „cai” mai mult comparativ cu Toyota bZ4x. Din pachet mai face parte și o baterie cu o capacitate de 71,4 kWh, care oferă o autonomie de până la 362 de kilometri cu o singură încărcare.
Debutul comercial al lui Lexus RZ 450e este programat pentru sfârșitul anului curent. Rezervările online au fost deja deschise pe anumite piețe.
