Un poliziotto ha sparato nel centro di Parigi contro un veicolo che, stando alle prime ricostruzioni, ha rifiutato di fermarsi al controllo degli agenti: due delle persone a bordo sono morte e una terza è rimasta ferita. L’agente è stato preso in custodia dall’ispettorato nazionale di polizia (Igpn). I fatti sono avvenuti sul Pont-Neuf, nel centro della capitale francese, nella notte tra il 24 e il 25 aprile.
Secondo quanto riferito da Le Monde, l’automobile era ferma o stava per fermarsi con le luci di emergenza accese e la pattuglia ha ordinato di accostare. Il rapporto della polizia, consultato dall’Agence France-Presse, dice che la vettura “era parcheggiata in controsenso” e quando gli agenti si sono avvicinati, si è “messa in moto ed è andata verso uno degli agenti che si è spostato di lato per evitarla”.
La sparatoria è avvenuta poco dopo la rielezione di Emmanuel Macron alla presidenza francese. Poche ore prima dell’incidente, circa 2.000 sostenitori del presidente avevano festeggiato la sua vittoria sul Campo di Marte, a circa due chilometri di distanza. Sul posto è arrivata anche la procuratrice di Parigi, Laure Beccuau. Il sistema di controllo della polizia è stato sequestrato, come sistematicamente avviene non appena un poliziotto utilizza la sua arma, ed è stata aperta un’indagine per “tentato omicidio colposo ai danni di persone che rivestono pubblici poteri”.
